Where are my recordings?
On your device, inside the app. Tap the search icon on the home screen to find any recording by title or by a line you sang. Recordings are included in your iCloud or computer backups.
Transcription is missing or wrong.
Transcription needs the speech recognition permission. Check iOS Settings, then Topline. Tap a word in the lyric sheet to fix it. Automatic transcription can be turned on or off from the gear icon on the home screen.
How do I record over chords or a backing track?
Tap Progression to build a chord progression, or Backing to import an audio file. Either one plays while you record and stays attached to the take.
Can I start recording hands-free?
Yes. Say “Hey Siri, start a Topline recording.” Recording continues in the background until you stop it.
How do I get a recording out of the app?
Use the share button on any recording to send the audio file to Files, Messages, Mail, or another app.
How do I join the TestFlight?
Email rmdunnewold@gmail.com with the subject “Topline TestFlight” and you will get an invite link.
